Hanslab (PTY) Ltd Woman’s Day Initiative

61 years ago, on the 9th August 1956 the women of South Africa chose to stand against a regime despite the worldwide belief of the time that women were inconsequential. Their united decision altered the perception of the role of a woman; resulting in the phrase “you strike a woman, you strike a rock” becoming synonymous of a women’s strength in South Africa.
